First Against Tthe Wall

We're off on the road to extinction…

Nope! Even if I try to imagine Bob and Bing singing it (to the tune of Road to Morocco), it doesn't make it any better. If we keep following the "road" that George Bush has "mapped" for us, we're gonna wake up some morning and discover that we have to consult the Koran on the way to the bathroom to determine the proper Islamic way of relieving ourselves - rather than just letting off in the direction of Mecca the way we do now.

Bush's horse-opera hyperbole and politically motivated histrionics, notwithstanding, about the only thing I've seen along this "road" of his so far is "road-kill." I feel more like I'm being dragged through an abattoir than lead down any road to peace.

First, we forgave the attacks by Saudi terrorists of September 11, 2001, that killed thousands of Americans. (At least, I haven't heard anything about nuking the Saudi Royal Palace or carpet-bombing Mecca.) Next, we slashed our way through Iraq and Afghanistan like Crusaders on crack, offing anyone who posed a threat to control by the "Al Saud Oil Cartel" (Saudi Arabia) over Mid-East oil and/or Islam. And, now, we're mugging Israel to ignore the ongoing campaign of terrorist atrocities being perpetrated against them and accept the Saudi plan to turn Palestine into a gigantic terrorist base with full nation status. Obviously, this is some unique new definition of the word "peace" of which I was not previously aware. Excuse me, but rather than a "Road Map to Peace," it sounds more like Bush is pushing the Saudi "Road Map to Islamic World Domination."
